Great GiftFeb 28, 2010 Bought this toy for my niece turning 2, she loves it!!! great bargain, and awesome toy that doesn't take up much space for her parents who live in a smaller home.
Learning made FunFeb 15, 2010 My daughter loves her LeapFrog Alphapet explorer, she know how to say her ABC's. The LeapFrog Alphapet helps her to identify what the letters looks like.
LeapFrog AlphaPet ExplorerFeb 03, 2010 This item is great!!! I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old granddaughter, & she loved it from the moment she opened it, she didn't want to put it down. I would recommend this product to anyone.
A small issue.Jan 26, 2010 I really like this, my daughter and even four year old son like to play with this toy. My complaint is that they don't have the lower case letters and they don't have the difference sounds the vowels make. I don't know if there is a reason Leapfrog has continually left out these details. Other than that it's a great product.

Best alphabet learning toolJan 07, 2010 My 3 year old loves this toy. We bring this in the car or to the restaurant for my son to play with. Since he got it for Christmas, he has finally started to learn phonics which I had previously tried teaching him using flashcards. Like the other posters have mentioned, this toy's music doesn't drive me crazy. It's easier on the nerves than most. The toy has many features including a game in which children are either given the letter name or the sound and asked to locate the corresponding letter. It keeps score so you can monitor progress. The music option lets them play the alphabet song providing they hit the letter keys in order from left to right (like reading). Great toy! I would have rated it 6 stars had that been possible. We've had lots of electronic toys, but this has been mine and my son's favourite. LeapFrog toys are superior.
