Fun, but wobblyFeb 08, 2010
It's very cute and my 5yo loves it, but the pieces do fall in/collapse more than I want them to. I'm considering gluing the major pieces together. The style is a great and he spends a long time with it. I was disappointed they didn't come with figures--or at least what would work. We ended up using Playmobil knights....they can't be the big ones that Target carry or they won't fit in the castle.

Happy with Castle not happy with price for what you gotDec 22, 2009
We bought this for our son for Christmas morning. He loves knights and pirates so we picked this one out of many. However, grant it, we should of paid attention more to what we were purchasing or will say lack there of because the picture leads you to believe that the figures and catapults etc come with the castle THEY DO NOT!!!! I was very upset to see this now 1 day from Christmas eve and I have to go spend more money to find knights and pieces to go with the castle. I know he will enjoy it regardless but for the price it is not worth it.

 Great design, but poor durability on some partsJan 02, 2009
We opened this castle on christmas day and were disappointed to see some parts were broken. The drawbridge and flag is particle board, which were broken, and made of particle board. the other parts of the castle are wood. great design, but poor choice of materials for the drawbridge, which is weight bearing when kids play with it. We love the layout of the castle. It looks like a lot of fun, but returned it due to the drawbridge.

I bought this castle set for my son for Christmas. Having already owned some of the Papo knights, I knew we needed a proper place for them to call home! It came partically pre-assembled, so putting it together wasn't a huge undertaking. This castle is beautifully manufactured! On X-mas morning, there wasn't a boy in the house (including my son's grandfather!) that could resist lowering the drawbridge, ramming the break away wall, or scaling knights to the tops of the towers. It is definately something that will be played with for many years to come!
