Huge hitApr 22, 2010 This table was a huge hit with my two children. We bought it for our 2 year old but my 5 year old has been playing with it just as much. The two sections to the table make it nice for two kids, since it allows each of them to have their own territory and limits the "sharing" to the central toys, on which they seem to work as a team. It is also water-tight enough that we were able to fill it with water and play with it in our living room (with towels underneath). The kids ask us to take it out again every weekend, and it's been a month now, so they are not tiring of it. It seems sturdy, although time will have to test that. We are very pleased with this purchase and although it is pricy, I would not hesitate to recommend it and I am thinking of purchasing another one for my niece and nephew.
Not an indoor table!Apr 08, 2010 We were looking for a table that could be used indoors. This was easy and fun for the kids to help put together but the table leaks at the center seam where it snaps together. The spinning wheels that set on top have spouts that are supposed to direct the water into the spaces on each side. They don't quite reach so the water does down through the middle. This was a splurge so it was especially disappointing.
My 18 month old daughter loves this toy!Sep 22, 2009 My 18 month old daughter has played with this toy for about three months and she still loves it! It was easy to put together and appears to be sturdy and well contructed. I put water on both sides of the table; I decided to wait until next summer to use sand- too messy for now. I like that you can cover it up at night to minimize the amount of bugs that end up in the water. The only downside is that it is rather difficult to remove the drain plugs to drain out the water. We plan to drain it, take it apart and store it in the basement until next summer. I am sure she will still enjoy playing with it then.
Love this water tableSep 12, 2009 My son loves his water table. I think the price is a little high, but I like that it has a cover. Was able to leave it out on our deck with very minimal bugs able to get under the cover. Also love that it comes apart for easy storage in the winter time. Highly recommend!!
Sand Fun without the Sand "Box"Sep 04, 2009 My husband and I bought this sand table for our daughter's first birthday. She's now 16 months and loves it. It's the only toy that she'll play with for a decent chunk of time. We're usually too lazy to keep water in the other side, so we just store her sand toys on the other side.
Just one complaint: the sand doesn't usually flow through the funnels very easily (especially if it's damp/wet).
